June 1st Tentative Parking

Hey everyone. Thanks for your help last week. Nathan Wetmore congrats on the new baby. I was shocked to hear that you were able to help 2 days after your child was born! Wow. Also, Ryan Scharnhorst thanks for kicking everyone into gear when we needed it. Peter was gone so I was a little slack. Also, let me know if you can make it this weekend. We have such a great team and I want to make sure that everyone is having fun and not feeling over worked. Tim, Barry and Joan I've left you off to give you a break, but if you can help and want to I'd love it. This weeks poll is strictly fictitious. I'm not saying that we should do anything like tailgating at the worship night! Have a good week.

May 25th: Parking Assignments

Hello everyone. With it being the holiday weekend I've got a lot of people who are scheduled to be gone so if you are at church and can help with parking please grab a vest. Your help will be appreciated. Also, it looks like Mike and Ken are considered the worst dancers? I'm thinking Brandon and Cody would be gone in a heartbeat!

The True Back Hair Winner!

The true back hair winner was revealed yesterday after church and it is Peter Reid! Not an excessive amount but definitely the true winner.

Pat McJunkin Wins First Poll

The hairiest among us is Pat McJunkin. With a total of 10 votes Pat crushed the competition. Rob Williams was 2nd with 7 votes and Peter was 3rd with 6. Mike Pizzo squeaked out 2 votes and Gabe Gray finished last with 1 vote. Thanks to all who voted!

Parking Team Schedule

Hello everyone. With summer coming up I am trying to get an idea of peoples schedules and in what capacity they would like to serve. I have added 4 extra shifts that I would love to see if we can have help with. Set up, Sign pickup , tear down and weekend lead.

Set up is putting up all the signs and cones before anyone gets here. We can show up at 7:30 and will have everything done by 8:30. Sign pickup takes about 30 minutes and is done during the 2nd service ( we use the church truck) and tear down is basically stacking the cones and helping put them into the truck and back inside the building, this will only take about 15 minutes. Weekend lead is someone who will be overseeing everything for that sunday and will be involved from set up to tear down. (similar to the producer role) I really appreciate everyones involvement in whatever capacity works best for them and have really enjoyed getting to know so many of you.

I want to keep everyone on the parking team fresh and am not asking for an indefinite commitment, but would like to have it nailed down through August. Also, if you have a particular position that you really like being placed at let me know. If you know of someone who is interested in helping please feel free to send me their name and I will contact them. Thanks again for all your help and I truly feel that this team is extremely integral to the success of Eastlake.

One last thought. With the next worship night occuring on June 6th I would love to have as many of the parking team hang out afterwords at Russells. We all see eachother but it would be great to hang out and have a beer together after the worship night. Have a good one and if you haven't voted yet for this weeks poll you only have one day left.

May 11th: Tentative Schedule

Here is the tentative schedule for this sunday May 11th. If I have added your name and you will be gone let me know and I will change it. If you can help and your not on the list I would appreciate it. If you are around after the second service and even could grab a vest for 10 minutes it would be lovely. That seems to be our hardest spot to fill.
