March 22nd Parking!

Okay, I am finally feeling better and this parking team has been doing great! Thanks to everyone who has been so consistent with their help! Being outside in the cold and rain is energy draining and I appreciate all of your help! We are coming up on Easter and our 1 year anniversary at Eastlake. I was asked to get this message from Pastor Ryan to the team! Check it out and I will see you all on Sunday! One last note! The reason I have asked this weeks poll question is because I am really curious how many people have joined the parking team that started coming to Eastlake in the last year! It helps me understand stuff!



MESSAGE FROM PASTOR RYAN:

Hey EastLake Volunteers!

Let me begin by saying, you are the best of the best around here! All
that has gone on around here over the past 4 years is because of
awesome volunteers like you who serve in countless ways all year long.
The hundreds of baptisms are a record of your faithfulness in serving
and tithing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I wanted to write you and ask you to join me in prayer and fasting for
this Easter Sunday, which is just around the corner. If there is one
thing we have learned over our history as a church, it is that when we
partner with Jesus to do great things in his name... when we pray and
fast for spiritual breakthrough... and when we prepare to expectantly
receive a wave of blessing, God has always shown up HUGE!

On Tuesday March 24th and Tuesday April 7th, I'd like to invite you to
pray and fast with me as we ask God to reach people this Easter. On
March 24th I would encourage you to pray that God would make it clear
to you who to bring to Easter Services. Perhaps you can even bring a
friend to each service? On April 7th lets focus on praying that God
would use the Easter service, the music, the message, and the smiles
of volunteers like you to open their hearts to the saving grace of
Jesus.

If you have never fasted before, what a cool opportunity to try and
grow in a new way! I have attached a document that clearly explains
what fasting is all about.

Again, thank you for your continued partnership in what we do here!
There is no greater use of your life than to join with what will last
forever... the eternal body of Christ, the Church!

PS- our Easter service times will be 9am, 11am, 1pm, 5pm & 630pm.
Since the 9,11, & 5 will be our largest to date, try to plan on
attending the 1pm or 630pm if possible. We want to be able to fit
everyone in who God sends us this year!

March 8th

Here is this weeks parking stuff. Our parking box has been moved for this weekend so continue past the kitchen and you will see it on the right. I am not going to be there so Rob Rees is taking my spot. Peter is going to be doing cones with Darin and Rob and anyone else who would like to learn how we do them can show up at 8:00.
